I know some dogs start killing chickens, show goats and pigs and don't bother to eat it. At that point the dog has to be put down. So...it happens.

This picture is tough to figure. You can see the change in direction where the leg was finally pulled off. Seems like the predator was pulling it by the leg, pulled it off and dined on the flank. Maybe it was interrupted fled the scene. Given the tales of BF strength, why would it have struggled so with the leg?
